A quick trip to San Diego right after Thanksgiving for an MRI and follow-up with the specialist. The scan showed that nothing had visibly changed in two months. I am to continue on Ibrance for 2 more cycles and then go back to the Specialist at the end of January for another MRI and follow-up. I am currently on my 24th round of Chemothearpy. It looks like I will stay on this chemotherapy until it quits working. Here’s hoping to many chemotherapy cycles as I would very much like to stay alive for a long time still. Time will tell. In addition to scans and chemo, James and I went to Wrigley Field for game 2 of the NLCS. The Cubs lost for the one game we were there but we watched every game at home after that and where very happy to see the Cubs win the World Series. Sharette and I also went to San Francisco with my sister and her husband to meet my Great Nephew Lucas Christopher-Jeremy and to the 49ers vs. Patriots and watched the 9ers lose. It was expected and it rained the entire game but we had great seats and a lot of fun. Sharette and I also dressed up as Deadpool and Angel Dust for Halloween and passed out candy at the house. I will post an update after my next scan. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
