Basically, after another 4 months on Ibrance, my scan showed "similar to prior or grossly similar to prior" on nearly everything and there were no obvious or enlarging intra-abdominal lymph nodes. So, still a lot of cancer tumors and deposits but no sign of growth.
So the plan continues. I am to do about 6 to 7 more rounds of Ibrance and then go back to San Diego mid July for another MRI and specialist follow up appointment.
In the mean time I am still trying to see if I can go Gold Prospecting on a claim up near Garden Valley Idaho and we have a trip planned to DC in May. June will be James' 21st birthday and he and I are going to try to go to Las Vegas.
I still have pain and discomfort everyday but I can deal with that for the most part. Bowel obstructions are happening every once in a while and those are very painful but so far have not had any life threatening issues.
Halloween was fun and we dressed up as Frankenstein’s monster and the bride of Frankenstein, we went to Arizona for Thanksgiving. Christmas went well and I am looking forward to spring as I prefer to go outside when it is a bit warmer than 20-38 degrees out. We also went whale watching in San Diego and even saw a whale and her baby up close just before our specialist visit.
